SureSlim creat diet plans by using blood test results (Optional – see Why have a blood test) to correct glucose metabolism and balance hormones levels that control body weight.  Clients can achieve fast maintainable weight loss (minimum 10lbs per month).  Our weight loss plans can help reduce or eliminate the need for medication by lowering cholesterol, blood pressure  and improving diabetic conditions.

Even relatively healthy clients experience  increased energy levels on their weight loss journey. SureSlim weight loss plans also include a wide range of anti-oxidant and zinc-rich foods. You don’t just feel healthier, you are healthier.

SureSlim is medically backed by an independent and experienced clinician with 20+ years expertise in the NHS and private sector.

The plans take into account your weight, state of health, medical history, food dislikes and the results of a detailed blood screen before and during your weight loss. Blood tests are organised by us to check for cholesterol, thyroid, sugar and other potential disorders that may influence weight and which helps in tailoring each plan correctly.

Your health and wellness are at the heart of the weight loss programme. SureSlim encourages you to discuss your weight-loss progress with your family doctor. If irregularities are found in your blood test results, you will be referred to your doctor with a copy of your blood test results so that she or he can be part of the SureSlim process. Your doctor will decide if further tests are required. These may also be used by SureSlim to make appropriate adjustments to your weight loss programme.

Your daily diet or the food that you consume is your body’s fuel, but not all foods make good fuel. A typical UK diet is full of foods that cause glucose and insulin levels to fluctuate, and metabolic processes to career out of control. When this happens, your body goes into survival mode and begins to store fat, and lots of it.

Your tailored diet plan teaches you how to feed your body properly so that you start burning fat, instead of storing it. The SureSlim Diet plans use only natural, unprocessed foods that can be purchased at any supermarket. Your diet plan will be nutritionally balanced, consisting of proteins, high-quality fats, and a controlled reduction in carbohydrates, specifically for the purposes of weight loss  high quality fats are an essential part of a healthy diet!

Plans include both weight loss and lifestyle elements so you are able to maintain the weight you lose.

Your consultant acts as your own personal weight loss and wellness coach.  SureSlim consultants offer encouragement and advice whilst monitoring progress and lifestyle information for maintenance.   The SureSlim doctor is also on hand to make any necessary adjustments to your plan.

Your diet can consist of delicious gourmet meals or you could keep it simple when you are on the run. As you progress through the diet programme, you are provided with help and support to enjoy life, birthdays, holidays, and restaurants while still losing your weight. 1 The glycaemic index (GI) is a numerical system of measuring how much of a rise in circulating blood sugar a carbohydrate triggers the higher the number, the greater the blood sugar response. So a low GI food will cause a small rise, while a high GI food will trigger a dramatic spike.

2 The glycaemic load (GL) is a relatively new way to assess the impact of carbohydrate consumption that takes the glycaemic index into account, but gives a fuller picture than does glycaemic index alone. A GI value tells you only how rapidly a particular carbohydrate turns into sugar. It doesn’t tell you how much of that carbohydrate is in a serving of a particular food. You need to know both things to understand a food’s effect on blood sugar. That is where glycaemic load comes in. The carbohydrate in watermelon, for example, has a high GI. But there isn’t a lot of it, so watermelon’s glycaemic load is relatively low.
